Where's the Cox repairperson??

We found all of the missing Cox cable repairmen who you were promised would come to fix your internet or cable service weeks ago. They are all at this hotel in Ahwatukee, AZ. It's unknown when they will come out. Better call Qwest.

Qwest sucks. Their DSL is slower than some dialups. Cable is the only way to go.

Hmmm... I am getting very solid upstream. 894K on one line, 768K on the other and that's with a 45 dB insertion loss.

In SOME cases, DSL can be problematic, especially with the piece of sh*t modems that Qwest sells (I am referring to the 2-WIRE). Myself, I am using the Actiontec 1521 on one line and the GT-701WG on the other one and the only problems I get is an occasional overheat on the 1521. I have noticed if you mount the 1521 vertically, the problem goes away for the most part. Too bad they don't make the Cisco 678 anymore.

What is also a problem is the crappy MSN service and the bloatware they install.

Keep in mind, I spent many of my years at Qwest working as a manager responsible for portions of Qwest DSL and I can tell you that it is a great product, but as with all great products, it is not without its flaws, especially in particular customer situations. With the availablity of /29 static IP addresses and a server friendly policy, I will take Qwest DSL with Qwest.net as the ISP over Cox anyday.
